Welcome to my ever changing list of everything food related in and around Haarlem. It is by no means a complete list and I am always open to receive tips and recommendations. Most of the locations in this list have been visited by me and are locations that, depending on the situation, I’d recommend. Places I have visited are marked with a ☑, the other places were added by recommendation through trusted sources.  Locations are organized alphabetically, Haarlem first, surrounding towns after. All locations are linked to Google Maps through the 📍.

Haarlem is a popular city to eat in and restaurants, especially the popular ones, can get busy really quickly. If you’ve picked a place through this list, make a reservation. Especially on Friday and Saturday night, reservations are needed throughout the city or you’ll risk ending up ‘wherever a table is still available’.

It might be out of date and I really like personally helping people on their (culinary) adventures throughout Haarlem, Heemstede and the surrounding areas.

If you’re looking to choose a spot based on where exactly you are in the city, I have a map with all tips available. However, keep in mind that Haarlem is relatively tiny and walking from one side of town to the other, takes 15-20 minutes at most.
